Artist and Handmade Dolls

This is Keira ---from the Celtic meaning "black haired". She is one of my labour of love boudoir art dolls. Made using the same dramatic female form pattern that I used to make the Jill puppet from my recent stopmotion animated film. I just adore the tiny cinched in waist and womanly curves. Her arms and hands are wired and fully poseable. her log shapely legs are jointed at the knee with fabric tab type joints. The body is adorned with black floral lace and free hand 'tattoo' ink work, as well as beads and sequins on the arm and leg joints. The feet are the same shape as the animation puppets too, but I have painted them as ballet shoes with black satin ribbon ties. Thanks for looking, lilly xxx
