Hello my name is Bernadette Smallwood and I am the artist behind these beautiful little babies. I’ve been reborning for a few years. I have been a doll collector for years. I stumble across reborns by accident looking for my beloved Syndee’s parts. I use to make them years ago, well I saw this baby and I fell in love with her. They said she came unpainted. What!? So I had to find out what they were talking about. So this is what they meant you have to paint them yourself. Apply their hair and everything else they need to make them as realistic as possible. A lot of time goes into this art form and I love it. I found an art form that I can combine all my loves into one. I hope you enjoy seeing Baby Michael he was a joy bringing to life.

Michael began as a Berenguer’s “Snookie” baby doll.
He has been fully transformed into a Gorgeous keepsake to cherish for years to come. I honestly could not say enough about Michael. I am so please with his result and confident that his new mommy will be just as pleased with him as I am. I have put a lot of my love and devotion into creating Michael for you. All of my babies come from a smoke-free Nursery smelling fresh and clean just as they should.
He was fully washed to remove all resdue and left to dry before his coloring process begin.
Michael’s true to life coloring was done with Genesis heat-set paint to give him the perfect baby skin tone. These paints will long-lasting, they do not fade or wear off over time. This coloring was achieved by adding thin layers of paint, heat set in between each, to create a beautifully realistic skin tone. I have combined my own mixture of paints. So he is truly Custom a one of a kind!! He has been blushed to perfection in all the right baby places with no detail being overlooked. He is just beautiful. He has tiny little veins throughout his face, head, hands, legs, and feet. This adds to the realism of this beautiful little baby boy.
Michael’s tiny fingers and toe nails were thinly tipped in off-white to give a natural appearance they were sealed to prevent chipping with matte vanish. All of his little creases have been highlighted. Michael’s tiny nostrils have been sculpted open and backed with dark felt to add depth and realism. His lips and mouth has painted in a natural shade and sealed for a moist appearance. One thing I can say you can’t help but fall in love with him.
Michael’s has been carefully micro-rooted with a tiny needle for the most realistic result. His hair is rooted with premium mohair is a perfect shade of yellow blonde. This is very realistic hair with beautiful soft curls. You can brush it to straight. It’s very soft and fun to play with. His hair has been sealed on the inside with a waterproof sealant so it can be gently dampened and styled.

Michael has ¾ arms and legs and doe suede body it so cuddly and soft. It feels so realistic to hold. His body is from BB very high quality doe suede. It makes him so easy to pose. Michael’s arms and legs had been weighted with poly-pellets and glass beads. His body has been weighted with poly-pellets in nylon and so soft poly-fil , so he is extremely cuddly. His head is also filled with poly-pellets in nylon and poly-fil , you will not need to support his head because he is a older baby. He has been weighted to 5 pounds. He is 21 inches long from the top of his head to the soles of his feet. He fits perfectly in 0-3 months baby clothing
Michael come with a motified pacifier it has very strong magnets. PLEASE NOTE: Not safe around electronics and pace makers!!
If you look closely you can see his little veins!! It adds to the realism.
I also rooted his I eyebrows. You will not see that much. It add to his unqueness.
Michael will come home with his magnetic pacifier and two custom made outfits, reborn certificate, and care instructions. And a few more special gifts for his new mommy.
